As a child, every summer I look forward to swimming in the pool Miss June. She was the only pool in the neighborhood. Fortunately for us, had to swim all day for only 25 cents!

The longest two weeks of my life about a month in the summer before the privilege to swim with Miss June. It was a hot day in Louisiana, and swim in the pool was wet as the sky. All the screams and laughter and splashes. SoSuddenly the cry of laughter turned to screams of terror, and every child was saved from the pool with lightning speed. When a sudden change in water temperature, the news spreads fast!

Miss June came out crying, "What in heaven's name is happening here!" No one was fat enough to take credit for the event, we are obviously willing to take the finger at the other to appear. It 'been a chaotic time. The charges were thrown out – pointing fingers- Disclaimer official. Miss June can not tolerate this type of behavior, so that closed parts in two weeks that summer – the longest two weeks of my life.

This was my first lesson in collective responsibility no matter who you are involved in this world – if someone does not accept responsibility for their actions, all pay the price!

Just as in business. Every day we make decisions and actions that have an impact outside the agency. Since weElections comes out, cross in many individuals, companies, projects, situations and events. Since they intersect, creating a positive and negative consequences that affect everyone.

A negative impact that I refer to as a checkpoint. These conflicts are not always seen, heard or recognized immediately. For example, if you have a sub-par level, you can still receive the same salary. There is no immediate effect on you, but we are in the business. In the end,feel the consequences, and so many others.

Crash ends in a bad way of thinking has left scars on many companies at any time. The actions that seem harmless now heads a little thought to the effect. In 2008, in New York City, a crane collapsed and seven people died. In a report showed that the crane was two weeks prior to the offenses listed. The city inspector was arrested for falsifying records. Someone has to pay him to "forget" security breaches orI just want to collect his papers?

It 'important not to forget the point of potential fall in our behavior. The game is bigger than what we see every day. Look around: you can close one eye, such as performance and gentlemen? Turn down a request for help, because it is not in your work? Restrict input in response to reports of evil? Communication knee to your advantage? You may decide to reduce profitability? You can do anythingdamage to the road? Be willing to look truth possibilities.

If we have more responsibility for our efforts and the impact they make, we have significantly improved the chances of success for ourselves, our company, our customers and our relationships.

So be careful not to pee in the pool and to ensure that others do not – it fails for all.
